Mr. Ted Graham

Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Reserve Integration

Mr. Ted Graham graduated in 1986 from Cal State Long Beach. He attended Aviation Officer Candidate School and received his commission in January 1987. In August 1988 he earned his wings and was selected to fly the F-14 Tomcat at NAS Miramar. He completed two West Pac Deployments onboard the USS Nimitz to the Persian Gulf, which included participation in Desert Storm and Southern Watch. He then transitioned to the F/A-18 and served as the Officer in Charge of VFA-204 at NAS New Orleans where he completed an additional deployment onboard USS Nimitz. For the last eleven years he has worked for Personnel & Readiness as the Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (Readiness Programming & Assessment), Acting Principal Deputy (Reserve Programming) and (Materiel & Facilities), and Director. He is currently the Principal Deputy for Manpower and Reserve Affairs (Reserve Integration). Additional assignments include: Special Assistant to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Reserve Affairs, Commanding Officer of VFC 13, NAS Fallon, F-5 Adversary Model Manager, and Carrier Air Wing Operations Officer. Mr. Graham has been married to his wife Kathleen for 32 years. They have two married children, and a grandson. He received a Master in Public Administration from University of Texas in 2008, a Master in National Resource Strategy from the Eisenhower School in 2010, and a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Georgetown University in 2006.
