The Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Military Personnel Policy supports Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness as the proponent for all military personnel policies and programs regarding recruiting, retention, compensation, travel and related human resources support for 2.1 million active and reserve service members.
